Two new asphalt art projects calm traffic, bring beauty, and reclaim space for people in Tucson
Last month Living Streets Alliance had the honor of helping two new lighter-quicker-cheaper street transformations take shape, one hyperlocal within a neighborhood, and the other in the heart of downtown. Both projects worked with Tucson artists who incorporated stories, ideas, histories, and imagery shared by locals. The result: colorful, meaningful, traffic-calmed places for people to enjoy and experience.
