Press Release: Announcing Spring 2025 Cyclovia, it’s a treat!
Living Streets Alliance is thrilled to announce the Spring 2025 Cyclovia Tucson event which will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The event will be at a new location along Treat Avenue, mobilizing a vibrant and popular bicycle boulevard with family friendly activities from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
During the 22nd Cyclovia Tucson event, 3 miles of local streets will be temporarily transformed into living, breathing, thriving public space! Cyclovia Tucson is Arizona’s biggest block party, filling the streets with 50,000 people, including local businesses, food trucks, activities, and friendly faces. Dozens of nonprofit and service organizations, performers, and community partners will bring the route to life, providing a fun, car-free day for people from across the region to enjoy. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to walk, bike, skate, roll, play, connect, and learn during this free event.
This spring’s event will be the first time that Cyclovia Tucson activates Treat Avenue Bicycle Boulevard, taking advantage of the neighborhood traffic calming, push button traffic signals (aka HAWK crossings), green infrastructure, and wayfinding signage that make it a smooth route for everyday biking and walking. The event route will connect La Madera Park and Himmel Park, local businesses at Broadway Village, and pass through La Madera, County Glenn, Blenman Elm, Sam Hughes, and Broadmoor-Broadway Village neighborhoods.
The 22nd Cyclovia Tucson is made possible with support from numerous partners and sponsors, including Visit Tucson, Banner — University Medicine / Banner — University Family Care, Pima County Department of Environmental Quality’s Clean Air Program, AARP Tucson, Rio Nuevo, Tucson Water, Gloo Factory Inc., Pueblo Vida Brewing Co., and Dragoon Brewing Co.
Cyclovia Tucson is a program of Living Streets Alliance (LSA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform our streets into vibrant public places that bring people together and provide safe, accessible, and attractive transportation options.
