With 1st Avenue redesign, an opportunity to do so much more than address traffic

As an RTA-funded project, 1st Avenue will change drastically between Grant Road and River Road in the next 5 years. It’s currently a high-crash corridor with lots of foot and bike traffic, and the redesign provides an opportunity to make it much safer for people on foot and on bike.
