FREE bike parking for special events
Make your next big event greener and healthier by providing free, ample bike parking!
Thanks to an exciting partnership with Pima County’s Clear Air Program, we’re excited to announce that Living Streets Alliance can now provide temporary bike parking to nonprofits, community groups, and neighborhoods in Tucson, Arizona for their special events, free of charge!
Here’s how it works:
We have nine (9) Dero Event Bike Racks that can park fourteen (14) bikes each, accommodating up to 126 bicycles at one point in time. Through this partnership, we can make them available for up to 12 different events this year!
If you have an event coming up and would like to have bike parking available, you can apply using the form below. If selected, we’ll coordinate directly with you to arrange for delivery & pickup of the racks and we’ll even help you promote bike parking as part of your event!
In exchange for this service, we’ll ask you to track some simple data:
The number of people who utilize the bike racks
The number of car trips replaced by bike trips
The estimated distance traveled by bike per person
